Ms. Vicki Michaels

Hi 5th Graders! I have been a teacher in the Melvindale-Northern Allen Park school district for over 25 years and have taught fourth and fifth grades. I am part of a great team of 5th grade teachers and am proud to work with a great group of teachers and staff at Allendale Elementary! It is an honor to work in a wonderful district and to be a part of our Cardinal family.

I grew up in Allen Park and attended Melvindale High School, then went to the University of Michigan for my teaching degree. I constantly learn from my colleagues as well as my students.  After all, learning is a continuous process.

When I'm not in the classroom, I love spending time with my family, friends, and especially my dogs. I am passionate about all animals which prompted me to become a vegetarian. I love taking nature walks, canoeing, camping, and watching baseball.

I look forward to a new and exciting school year! There will be so many opportunities to grow and learn new things together.
