Ms. Meagan Shihadeh
Hello!! I am so excited to welcome you to Allendale this year!! I have been a proud member of the 2nd grade teaching team for 5 years. This will be my 6th!
Fun Fact! I grew up in Melvindale and went to Melvindale schools! I am a very proud graduate of Melvindale High School :) I have been actively involved in the community for a very long time. I taught safety town for many years, have worked in the schools as an aide, and have coached several sports at the middle school. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University with a major in Elementary Science and a minor in Early Childhood. This year I completed my Master of Arts degree in Teaching English as a Second Language.
When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with family, friends, and my dog, Mia. I enjoy riding my bike, watching softball games, going to the gym, and watching movies. Some of my favorite things are the color orange, Harry Potter, softball, coffee, converse shoes and lotus flowers.
This year isn't starting like any we have had before, but I am excited to take this journey with my new second graders. We will do this together!
