These works of art have helped inspire many NASA scientists and engineers to pursue their careers in space exploration.

Have you heard about the rover that is going to land on Mars this week? The name of the Mars rover is Perseverance and it launched last year (2020) in July. The rover is a robot that traveled 300 million miles to Mars to look for signs of past life!

Perseverance is scheduled to land on Mars, Thursday, February 18th. In honor of this, we will be exploring how scientists use elements of art to study images of planets for this week's activity.
